Davis Wilder '19 Recruiting Profile

My colligate goal is to play football at a high level while earning a degree in Sports Medicine/Exercise Science. I realize the importance of hard work on and off the field. I am an honor student and a multi-sport athlete. Since freshman year I have been a starting varsity player in football and baseball, but football is my passion. I played basketball my freshman year as well, but decided not to play my sophomore year and use that time for speed and strength training to prepare for football season.

I have a strong football IQ and am very coachable. My primary position is wide receiver, but I also excel in defense at strong safety; with five interceptions my sophomore year. My efforts did not go unnoticed as I made all conference and received the “Knight Award”, similar to an MVP award, which encompasses outstanding performance, dedication and sportsmanship.

I am a dedicated student athlete. I know I have what it takes to be successful at the next level and look forward to the opportunity.
