Jamarion Montford '23 Recruiting Profile

College  athletics has always been a goal of mine whether that’s football or basketball. I train harder than any player and any workout, practice or game I strive to outwork them. I also take my school work just as serious having a GPA of 3.6 while taking advanced and AP classes since middle school.  My goal after college is to play professionally and my back up plan is to be a athletic trainer for a professional team so I can always be close to the game I love, an engineer, or Film/ Video Camera Operator. I'm a leader on and off the field and I know younger players that are in my area look up to me which is one among many reasons I have to be different from everyone else. My faith in God pushes me to be my best in all aspects of life sports included. I know that this life is bigger than football and I want to be able teach and spread God's word to anyone I can, and playing college football is a way to do that. Some people look at players in college and ask "how did you make it" and I want my response to be because of my hard work on the field and weight room as well as my dedication and strong faith in God.
