My name is Tanner Payne, 2026 QB. I am a multisport athlete who plays lacrosse, basketball, and football. I plan to major in business, concentrating on entrepreneurship and sports marketing. My favorite part about football is the X/Os. I love the terminology, and I love to work with my teammates on getting better. Coaches can trust me to make good decisions in the huddle and on the field. My ultimate goal is to play in the National Football League. I have had that goal since I was five years old.

- The tournament was comprised of regional 4A and 3A schools for Jacksonville, Morehead, and Wilmington, NC, high schools. Our team, the Patriots, was made up of teammates from West Carteret High School. We placed third, finishing 9-2. I threw for 46 TDs and 6 interceptions over 11 games. Rushing was only allowed in the event the QB was blitzed. Defenses were allowed 1 blitz per four downs with 3.8 seconds to throw the ball.
