Kaleb Rodríguez '20 Recruiting Profile

Since the time I could carry the ball, football has been something I love.  I am fortunate enough to come from a family with hard working and loving parents; they both have taught me so much in life. Although my dad is frequently deployed to the Middle East (usually every six months), during his short time home he teaches me respect, hard work, and most importantly self worth. Even though I always strive to be the best player on the team, I know its difficult to be #1 amongst a group of men who want that same slot. However, I do promise to show leadership amongst my peers and consistently strive to improve my team and myself. School does not come easy to me and so I have struggled with my academics, but that only pushes me to work harder. Through much determination, I will achieve my academic goals through with the help of tutors, extra work, or whatever else it may take.
