Ryan Moffatt '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Ryan Moffatt. I am a student athlete of the class of 2026 at North Buncombe High School in Weaverville NC with a 3.41 GPA. I am a six foot, 160 pound, slot receiver/safety/kicker. As a freshman, I had the opportunity to play on varsity for a few games. Last year, as a sophomore, and my first time playing fulltime varsity, I had the most receiving yards on my team with  249 yards and one touchdown. I also had a 44 yard field goal, which got our team started on a 32-13 victory.

 I enjoy playing the game of football, as you can see I have been active all three parts of the game, offense, defense, and special teams.  Being a slot receiver and a running back helps me with my job as a safety and vice versa. Being a kicker and punter, as well as, a kick and punt returner, I know what is trying to be done on both ends. I am looking for an institution that will not only allow me to further my athletic career, but also provide me the academic opportunities to pursue a career in the sports world later on in life.
