2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My overall goal is to impact the school and surrounding community in a positive way. To obtain a degree in either Criminal Justice or Sports Medicine. To continue to grow and develop physically, academically and spiritually in a culture of accountability and brotherhood. To become a contributing member of that brotherhood and to love the journey. To become uncommon in attitude, ethics and practice and to set a standard of excellence for the next generation and my team mates.

Training
- Weight lifting and conditioning, agility drills
- 4 years
- Ian started lifting with his father and brother in summer of 2016. He also displayed self motivation by running 40 yard resistance sprints (tire dragging) over the summer. Our initial focus was on form and technique but he currently has worked his way up to a 505lb squat and 455lb deadlift. In spring of 2017, he began lifting and conditioning under the supervision of Jake North, Hicksville High School's Strength and Conditioning coach and supplemented that by continuing to lift at the YMCA under my supervision. Day one following his teams playoff loss, he was up at 6:00am and dragging that tire and hitting the weights later that afternoon. During the early winter he completed a 10 week German High Volume Training program which lead to his considerable gain in 1MR for squat, bench and dead lift.
