Hello, my name is Darrien Brown. I am a student athlete from Canada, currently completing my senior year at Football North. I have managed to obtain a 2.5 in the majority of my classes and working hard to improve before graduation. I am looking to achieve my Bachelor of degree in health sciences, to pursue a career in firefighting. I am looking to build a lasting relationship within an amazing community which I can be proud to call home. I am also looking to attend a dynamic football program.
Things I pride myself in are my leadership, my work ethic, being coachable on and off the field and my volunteer work within the communities. I have done volunteer work with homeless shelters, helping coaches officiate youth flag football with Under Armour Flag Football, helping with sticks and sideline volunteer work with my old high school football team in Ontario.
I am 6’0, 195 lbs with a wing span above the average of others. I consider myself an athlete however my main positions are wide receiver, defensive back and strong safety. I also enjoy and have been used as linebacker, punter and kicker. I am always up for the challenge on the field, pushing myself to new limits and being a value to my team.
