Hello, I am Rejos Neopaney. I was born in Nepal, my parents were refugees when they had me in Nepal. We wanted to move to the USA because we wanted a better life. We moved to NYC, NY when I was almost 5 years old. My family lived in NYC for 2 years, we then decided to move to Vermont, and I've lived here ever since (2010).
I have had the fight for my life. I was diagnosed with cancer sometime late November, early December 2017. I was declared cancer-free on May 3rd, 2018. It was a long, painful, and dark journey. But there always is light at the end of the tunnel. Positive thoughts have got me through this situation. With the help of my coaches, teammates, friends, and family. I knew God had a plan for me. He made sure my time wasn't up, that I can still pursue my dream and keep playing football.
I work hard in the classroom and I also work very hard on the field. In the offseason I get on my grind, I lift and do lots of cardio. I am more of a Jabril Peppers, and Jamal Adams type of safety. I will be in the box a lot but I can cover and also come downhill hard and stop the runner. I have varsity football experience as a linebacker, so I am not afraid of contact. I will lay the wood on any receiver, running back, or a quarterback that tries to test me. Believe that!
Besides football, I also see a future in business or law. I am great at getting people to buy into things. I am great at selling myself, I have a great skill. I am a social guy that is friendly and that people like. I believe I could even sell a lightbulb to the Amish!! Also, I believe if I truly believe in something, I can win an argument defending it.
