Lena Benway '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Lena Benway. I live in Acton, MA, but I attend St. George’s School in Middletown, RI. I am a boarding student in the class of 2021.  My favorite subject in school is science, specifically AP Biology, but there isn’t a subject I don’t like. In my time outside of basketball and school, I draw, surf, and watch a lot medical documentaries. If you can’t find me studying in the library, I will be on the court working out with a coach, teammates or by myself.  I have always been a strong and vocal leader, and not just on the court.  Being a vocal leader has made not only me, but my teammates better players.  Recently I have been working on quickness, as well as becoming a more versatile player.  The schools that appeal to me are places where the culture is driven by high academics and community.
