Angel Serna '18 Recruiting Profile

    I want to go to college to major in engineering and I know football could be a way to get me there. I'm intereseted in engineering because I've been taking a dual credit class in Industrial Manufacurturing engineering and it comes naturally to me. I enjoy the challege  and innovation that comes with engineering. My father and grandfather both work as industrial technical mechanics. They have inspired me to study engineering.

    My parents were only teens when they had me. They where unable to finish highschool because,they started working in order to support me. I have growed up knowing that my parents made lots of sacrifices in order to give me a better life. They even moved from Chicago to Texas in order to give me a better future.

    This work ethic and sacrifice has made me who I am. I work a part time job at Sonic. I go to school and maintain good grades. I play football and volunteer at the local food bank. I am a hardworker and learn fast. I have been told this by my coaches, teachers, and boss.
