Langston Taylor '22 Recruiting Profile

Greetings.

First, let me begin by expressing my sincere appreciation to you for taking the time to learn more about me. This is a pivotal time in my life where all of the morals, values, spiritual wisdom and education that has been poured into me takes shape and propels me to the next chapter of my life.

I have two collegiate goals and one central aspiration. My collegiate goals are as follows:                                                      

#1_I want to excel academically and earn a post-graduate degree in Sports Journalism, Sports Media & Communication, Sport & Exercise Physiology, or Sport Management. I believe I am purposed to work in the Sport & Athletic field, and I am determined to position myself to succeed in a career centered around my passion.

#2_My goal is to play college basketball. I have been a fan of basketball since the age of 3 and have aspired to compete on the college level since elementary age. I have played basketball non-stop since the age of 7. I love every aspect of the game, and I thank God for blessing me with outstanding athleticism and discipline. I am a good candidate for a college basketball team because I have elite play-making ability, excellent ball-handling,  on-ball defense that is unmatched, finishing around the rim, an ability to spot up and knock down mid-range, and three-point shots. I am a true point guard and the two important traits that stand out are my leadership qualities and competitiveness. I am a coachable, humble, and respectable young man that listens and learns from every win, loss, and experience. I am always in competition with myself and aim to be and do better every time I step on the court.

Lastly, my aspiration is to embrace my purpose and excel in every academic, athletic, social, and personal endeavor so that I can live my best-blessed life and inspire others to do the same.
