Personal Statement
I am blessed to live in San Diego and to have two great parents that have influenced me to work hard. My love of basketball started at a young age in rec ball. I progressed on to a competitive league which taught me the skills and work ethic that I have today. I was a co-captain and starter of my high school JV team and am excited to play at the Varsity level this season. One of my biggest challenges has been having a learning disability. It has taught me that there is always a solution to any problem and nothing beats hard work and perseverance. My goal is to find a college that is a good fit for me academically and to play the sport that I love.
