Leadership, mental toughness, self-discipline, and the value of teamwork are just a few of the important character traits that basketball has taught me to develop, both on and off the court. Positivity, inclusion, and tenacity are life skills I bring to my game and my life. As a well-rounded student athlete, my hope is to join a campus, a team, and a community where I continue to learn and grow.

I have been playing basketball since I was 8 years old and through the years I’ve improved my game as an individual, as well as a teammate. On the court, I handle the ball well under pressure, exhibit a high basketball IQ, and can create for myself and my teammates. I am a leader on any team and can take control of the court. I am a coachable player that looks to help pick up my teammates and knows that each possession brings a new opportunity for success. I am continually working on my craft through year-round play, whether on my high school team, via AAU basketball, or attending camps during the off-season. 

Off the court, I apply my self-discipline and focus skills academically, working hard to maintain high grades in rigorous courses, including multiple Honors and AP level classes. Additionally, I am a member of the internationally recognized DECA business club and I promote social inclusion through the Special Olympics Unified Sports program at my high school, as well as through local community volunteer programs. 

I am looking forward to attending a college where I can thrive both in and out of the classroom, as well as on the basketball court. I am open to all options that match my academic and athletic aspirations.
