Michael Cleland '17 Recruiting Profile

     I have dreamed of playing college basketball ever since I could remeber. I am the type of player that never quits, is always hungry, and I won't stop unless I am physically incapable. I am an extremely coachable player who is a student of the game. I am a good listener and I am willing to try new things if it will better improve my game.  

     During the college process, I am looking for a school that can meet my academic and athletic standards. I am looking for a school that can not only benefit me while in college, but also years after graduation. As far as athletic standards, my main goal is to compete. I am looking for a school where I can have a close relationship with my coach and where I can trust him. My main goal for athletics however is to appeal to a school that wants me. 

     In conclusion, being a student of the game has helped me to strive on and off the court. I have learned many social and professional skills from the game of basketball. I look to continue to learn and grow as a person as well as an athlete, and I hope to do this as a college athlete.
