If you are looking for a hardworking, disciplined, talented, versatile, intelligent and highly coachable player, and supportive teammate, you should consider me for your team. I have played many different positions, but most recently on Varsity I played the 4 and 5. On the court, given my size and strength, my primary role has been to protect the paint, and get rebounds. But I am able to step out and play a wing position, with strong shooting and good off the ball movement. Although I can be physically dominant, I consider myself more of an intelligent player, adept at reading the defense, staying calm with the ball and making strategic assists. Off the court, I have sought to maximize my physical strength, speed and mental acuity through weight training, sprinting, yoga, explosiveness training and meditation. I have also improved my game by becoming a vegan over two years ago - a decision I made not only for ethical and moral reasons, but also to foster my own physical wellness - which has paid off through increased stamina, strength and leanness. I am also a highly disciplined and focused student and believe playing two sports year round (basketball and soccer) has helped me develop strong time management skills. I hope to bring my personal integrity and hard work to bear at a college that values students of character and commitment.
