Zoey Ames '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Zoey Ames and I am a junior at Northampton High School. I am a three sport varsity athlete (field hockey, lacrosse, swimming). I started competitively swimming my freshman year, and made the varsity team. Due to covid, I was not able to compete at regionals and states that year. My sophomore year I competed at both meets, swimming in at least three events at each meet.  My best events are the 100 butterfly, 100 freestyle and 50 freestyle. I also enjoy swimming the 200 freestyle and 200 butterfly. Swimming helped me develop the determination and passion to be a good teammate in the pool as well as in the classroom. Although I have only been swimming competitively for a short time, I believe I have made great improvements and hope to continue that in high school and through college.
