My Experience as a Team Captain As a team captain, I've gained a deep appreciation for the value of teamwork. On and off the court, I strive to be a leader by making sound decisions and being a positive role model to both my team and my younger brother. You will often see my little brother who is 7 in team photos, or sitting court side at most of my off season games and travel league events. During games, I focus on making choices that benefit the team, whether that means scoring, passing, or supporting my teammates. When I'm not playing, I stay engaged in positive activities, such as volunteering as a youth basketball coach or referee. I also work as a banquet host.
I'm passionate about basketball and play on multiple leagues, which allows me to connect with other players and coaches. I embrace the opportunity to learn from my mistakes, and I'm always open to feedback and coaching. Most importantly, I'm eager to continue building my strategic play on the court through teamwork, coaching, and a shared sense of school pride.
