Personal Statement

I have signed up and been accepted to some ajga qualifiers in Sioux Falls , sd Waukesha, wi and Racine, wi this summer and am playing in some HJGT tournaments and mn state and mn jpga championship this summer.

My goal for junior year is to get my scores down to the low 70’s. And hopeful get noticed by a university that fits me. I have been a multi sport athlete for 10 years but golf has always been my passion. I have been on the varsity team since 7th grade. I’ve been practicing harder this winter then prior years. I will also be playing some national tournaments to build my resume

As for me personally, I am a very supportive and encouraging team mate. I am hungry to learn as much as I can from a college coach. I am ready and committed to taking my game to the next level.

136/73.9 7000 yards. 45-35= 80 24th out of 60. Uncomfortable front 9 but got zoned in the back 9 and got 5 birdies. Happy with getting my game back on track after a tough start.

Par 70 - no course play for 5 months. Just wanted get a little winter tournament practice. Rd 1 -81 Rd 2- 92 Rd 3 - 88. Lots of 3 putts. 2 quads 2 triples. To many doubles. But irons were solid most of the time. Chipping was great. Driver was hit or miss. Besides the bad scores had a great time playing in 80 degree weather and meeting player from different states and country’s. Super motivated to keep working on the track man all winter long. It’s going to be a great season this summer!

Day 1 shot 82. Double on 16 and quad on 18. Lost focus and paid for it. Otherwise played well. 85 degrees. Day 2 79 with 2 triples at the last holes. Another hot day. 28th out of 51.

Par 72 - 72.1/136. 150 competitors. 77-75=152 60 place out of 150. Played well. No doubles. Missed a lot of birdie putts. Best juniors in Minnesota. Lots of fun!

Par 72 - 70.2/133. Heard some sad news from home the day before. Had a tough first round 84, second round 79. 42nd place out of 88. On a positive note it was a great mental challenge and lesson for me. Made me a better player overall.

Day 1 quad bogey on first hole and triple bogey on 3rd hole. Stayed composed for a +9 (81) for the round. Day 2 shot a 79 with a cold putter. Poor club choice on 2 holes that cost me a couple strokes. 81-79-160 ( 72.5/133) tough course. 4th overall , qualified for state.

First ajga event. 132/ 72.2 par 70. I shot 77. Every aspect of my game felt good. Just couldn’t sink putts. My game is ready to go to the next level! Really been focusing on mental game. Next event is another ajga qualifier in Waukesha, wi.
