I have played sports most of my life and have found basketball to be my passion. I play basketball mostly year-round, even during other sport seasons. I have worked hard to become a dependable and productive player for my team and find myself being one of the most consistent shooters, rebounders and finishers on my high school varsity team. I take pride in being told that my coaches are proud of me and that I am very "coachable." I am a versatile player and find myself shifted between power forward, small forward and occasionally center. I am a quiet person and am told I am very humble and I would rather make my statements on the court. I respect the refs and coaches of each game and hold an even temperament.
I dream of playing basketball in college. Ultimately, I would love to play D1, but given the opportunity to play at smaller schools/divisions is something I would also be grateful for. I live in rural Montana, so I see the different college sizes and teams and like what each program offers their players. I also want to gain a solid education alongside a basketball career, but I am undecided in what area to major.
My first favorite basketball player was Michael Jordan. Jordan's scoring ability, leadership and commitment to the game and his team are all characteristics that I try to bring into my own basketball game. Today, my favorite player is Jalen Green because I like his play style and how he attacks the basket.
I am confident that I will be a great asset to a basketball team in the future and look forward to any opportunities and conversations that will come my way.
Thank you.
