My name is Amanda Willis. I’m 17 years old and a senior at Shields Valley High School in Clyde Park, MT. I compete in the 3200M, 1600M and occasionally the 800M. I‘ve always loved running and have been passionate about it even before I started track in junior high. I have participated in many events through my career in track but I have consistently been a distance runner. I’ve grown and learned a lot since my freshman year and I want to continue that into college.
I love track but academics always come first. I have been on the High Honor Roll since freshman year, received Academic-All state awards for track, volleyball and basketball and I am a member of the National Honor Society. I hope to study Business or Entrepreneurship as well as be able to stay connected to my roots in agriculture.
Outside of track, I also play volleyball and basketball and am involved in FFA and BPA.
