I am told by coaches I have a very high basketball IQ, and that I can be counted on to make great decisions in an instant. I stay level-headed and focused in clutch situations. I am a good outside shooter, and great at driving to the basket in high traffic. I have learned to get by defenders that are taller than I am and find the basket. My greatest strength is setting up my teammates for open opportunities. I have been told I am a great "floor general" as point guard. I am great at getting the opposing defense to move where I want them to create an opening for a teammate, and crafty at getting them the ball. I am a "glue" player, and very team-oriented. I am straight A student and can pick up any sport quickly and easily. My one true love in life has been basketball, spending hours a day shooting or practicing since the age of 7. I have been called "very coachable" and I execute as directed by my coach. I am a very capable defender, and can seal off a lane for my teammates.
I am physically strong and have not had any injuries that caused me to miss a game. I work out with a professional strength coach who has been molding me specifically for basketball success and lengthening tendons to prevent injury. I am 6'2 now, and our doctor says I have 2 to 3 inches left to grow. However, my AAU coaches have commented that I rely on finesse and skill far more than strength. I am an excellent guard with solid fundamentals, I will be the hardest worker on your team. If your goal is to assemble a team of unselfish, talented players that understand how to work together to get the WIN, I want to be your point guard.
