Cameron Wiese '24 Recruiting Profile

One of my college goals is to be a part of something bigger than sports. I feel like I am a great candidate for most teams because I can be a leader on the court, in the weightroom, and the classroom. In my opinion while playing for my high school team I have not only gained respect from people older than me but also the underclassmen who look up to me. I believe that they look up to me because of my leadership. Some ways that I show my leadership is by working hard. Working hard to me is diving for loose balls, taking charges, and playing as hard as you can on the defensive side of the ball and the offense will follow. In my opinion what makes me different is I am not always looking for the "good" play. I want to move the ball around and distribute to find the "great" play and close offensive possessions with a great look at the hoop.
