Hello coaches thank you for taking the time to read over my bio.

My name is Terry Dawkins as a junior last season, winning the varsity NYC CHSAA AA championship has been the highlight of my high school basketball career.  What make this win so meaningful to me is this was my 1^st year playing varsity at my high school Cardinal Hayes who has not won a city championship in 27 years!! I am extremely proud and honored to be part of the starting 5 and a team who helped bring home a city championship trophy to our school, averaging 17 points and 10 rebounds this championship experience has taught me the true meaning of hard work ,dedication and working together as a team , this journey has also helped me grow tremendously as a student athlete  it lead me to refocus my own efforts on becoming a transitional player, capable of being a solid 2 guard or small forward, playing any positions as needed by my coach and team ,in addition to my school winning the championship I was also awarded the most improved player trophy and  named as one of  the NYC Archdioceses top 25 leading scorers, greatest abilities as a player are my strength and my ability to score in the paint and rebounding .  

I have been playing basketball since I was 9 years old and  I have have always dreamed about playing at the college level I have  been very fortunate to experience great success from AAU level to high school.

As a senior this year my goals and aspirations are to continue to work had and excel on and off the court, to achieve a 3.50 or better GPA before graduation, bring home another city championship to my high school and lastly to fulfill one of my life long dreams, to play basketball at a college level, I am determined to work hard to attend a collage where I can successfully make a difference and a positive impact for the team.
