I personally feel if I have a certain mindset towards something that I am capable of, I can most definitely achieve it. I want to become a Computer Engineer once I graduate from college and I feel as if I will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal. This same rule applies for my sports career. Basketball means a lot to me since I have been playing since I was just a young kid. I have been playing basketball a lot for years and I feel like every game that passes, I become a significantly better player, as I learn how my opponents play and how they play together as a team. In character, I feel like I'm enthusiastic when I'm on the court, and usually seem humble instead of arrogant. Also, academically, I feel as if I'm different because I have to juggle multiple things, including basketball and IB classes, at once. Doing so is difficult but to me I feel like I have adjusted to it well especially at just 14 years of age.
Thank you for taking the time to read my Personal Statement.
