Matthew Frost
I have been a two-sport student athlete since the second grade. Being successful on and off the court requires a strong commitment and willingness to make sacrifices. I have been taught all my life that hard work is the key to success. My mental toughness and strong physicality on defense impact my team’s success. I lead through example and my teammates know I am willing to do anything to help the team win. Competing is at the core of who I am. My experiences playing AAU basketball and baseball throughout my grammar school years have formed the player I am today. Playing at the college level has always been my goal. I do not want my athletic journey to end at the high school level, I want to continue competing and bring my strengths and commitment to a college team.
In college I want to major in Engineering which required taking rigorous courses throughout my four years in high school. This has prepared me for the challenges of balancing academics and athletics at the college level. I have received second honors throughout my four years in high school and will continue to put my efforts towards both school and sports. I know I have what it takes to make an impact both personally and athletically for your team!
