ErinPersonal Statement
My name is Erin Nilan. I hope to play hockey at a college level and pursue a major in the science field. I am a full IB student, and I’ve been on Principal’s List all my years attending St. Edmund Preparatory High School.
I joined two teams in my freshmen year and have remained on both. The first being the St. Edmund Prep Eagles, the school’s boys ice hockey team. This will be my fourth year as their starting goaltender. While playing on the team I have won MVP and was awarded First Team All-Star by the Catholic Highschool League. I am also a member of the St. Edmund Prep Nerd Herd, our schools Robotics team, and will be the team Captain for my senior year.
Finally, for the past two years I have been taking advanced Art classes and will be taking IB Art in my senior year. During my sophomore year, I won an award for designing a company logo, which the company uses today.
I look forward to employing my diverse range of interests and skills and developing new ones in a college environment.
