I not only aspire to play basketball at the collegiate level but to be a key contributor on and off the court. On Junior Varsity, I was captain and I feel that I can be a great leader for other players and help out my teammates however needed. Also, something that makes me a good candidate for any team is my defensive motor. I believe that strong defense is the key to winning and I value that skill over anything else whether it’s driving, playmaking, or shooting.
So far in my basketball career, I’ve successfully been the go to lockdown defender, I hustle for every ball, stay with my man, percept passes well, and I protect the rim.
I have very good grades with a GPA of about 3.7 while taking honor level course, making me a great candidate for a student athlete. I also do about 40 hours of community service work a year which ranges from coaching young kids in basketball to helping feed the homeless.
