I have been playing basketball since the 4th grade. To me basketball is a way of life. I spend most of my time either learning about basketball or at basketball practice. I am extremely knowledgeable about this game; but recognize that I still have much to learn, which is why I am attentive to my coach's instructions. I can execute game plays very well. I am good at following directions which has allowed me to earn the trust of every coach I have ever worked with. I take basketball seriously. To me this is not just a sport. It is my life's passion! I come from a family of overachievers. My parents are college educated and so are my two older brothers, one of whom is currently serving in the US Special Forces. Both my brothers are great athletes as well. My plan is to continue to improve my game of basketball while I also work to obtain a college degree, just like the rest of my family. I know great things in life do not come easy, which is why I am willing to work harder than anyone. I practice basketball all year including my off months. During the school year, I get up at 5 AM to practice before school. I practice after school and every free time I have because this is what I enjoy doing. Basketball will never be a job for me. It is my passion. My goal, God willing, is to become a professional basketball player.
