Just like any player that has a true love for the game of basketball, I dream about playing professional basketball. What I believe I have over other athletes who want to achieve that same dream is that I have a great work ethic and I will compete until the end. I know that I can help teams win because of my versatility and unselfish play. Sometimes it is not all about who has the most talent but about who has the most heart. My unrelenting desire to continually improve my game has coaches complimenting me on how hard I work and allows me to accept criticism on all aspects of my game.

- After training for 2 weeks in St. Croix with Coach Jeremy Tang from Baylor University and Coach Jareem Dowling from North Texas, I was an intricate part to my teams 3-2 record in the Centrobasket FIBA tournament. I had payed the most minutes averaging around 28 minutes a game. And while I played the starting shooting guard position I was tasked to playing defense against the best big men on the opposite teams. I can say I took a lot out of the experience like providing good examples for my teammates by showing great work ethic by out working my teammates, being the glue of my team and letting having them work as a unit, and bringing energy to my team whether we were winning by a lot or trailing by a little.

- The Jim Couch Foundation has a long tradition of training and showcasing elite players. Current NBA players such as Tobias Harris, Kemba Walker, Ben Gordon, and Richard Jefferson have participated in our programming and former NBA All-Stars Tony Campbell, Nate “Tiny” Archibald, and Anthony Mason have spent time as trainers. Milton Lee and Ross Burns have also worked our event as head trainers and are well-known NBA pre-draft consultants. The training showcase has featured 26 ESPN Top-100 ranked players over the past four years and has been supported by USA Basketball’s Don Showalter. This year, we expect many of the elite HS players from across the country to attend and participate.
