Hello, my name is Sam Peek. I am currently a junior at Trinity Pawling Prep School in Pawling, New York. This season I am playing with NY Jayhawks Adidas 2018 AAU team. My AAU coach is Jay David. I had a good junior season at Trinity Pawling and saw significant playing time. I have grown 5 inches in the last 12 months. I am now 6 ft 5 and I'm finally starting to adjust to my growth spurt. I will continue to work on my strength and speed over next year which will positively impact my game. I am a pure shooter who can handle the basketball.
My athletic goals are to be named all league next year at Trinity Pawling and help us compete for a Founder's League championship. In AAU, I want to continue to develop my skills and help lead our Jayhawks team to success at future tournaments and to build lasting relationships with my teammates. Academically, I would like to maintain my 3.5 GPA and continue to be selected to our Elite Head Masters list
My goal is to become a college basketball player at the highest competitive level possible at a school with a strong academic environment. I am aware of what my goals demand, and I have dedicated myself both on the court and in the classroom. In addition to my basketball success, my GPA at Trinity Pawling Prep is a 3.5/4.0. I will be taking SATs and ACTs shortly.
I am the oldest of three and I am lucky to be supported by my family, all of whom are willing to help me reach my goals.
My Dad coached me for many years when I was younger and he is currently the youngest head coach to win a New York State High School Championship in basketball.
My uncle, Adam Crawford, is in the NYU Basketball Hall of Fame.
I want to continue our basketball tradition and have a lot of fun doing it.
