Tyler Anderson '22 Recruiting Profile

As a scholar athlete, with a vision for the future in the field of business/finance, my attributes encompass accomplishments in the fields of academics as well as athletics. A member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Varsity Basketball Captain. As a difference maker, I engage in philanthropic work locally in soup kitchens and working with individuals with autism, as well as internationally, teaching Spanish to young students in an orphanage in India via Zoom, advocating and obtaining laptops from Microsoft to donate to the students to assist with their educational needs. 

My greatest asset as a basketball player is making those around me better. I am a true point guard. My strengths include accelerated processing speed, play making, court vision, ability to break down a defense and shoot a mid range and 3 point shot. I always play both ends of the floor, can guard multiple positions, and constantly strive for self improvement. Basketball has allowed me to compete nationally at multiple AAU tournaments. I embody leadership qualities both on and off the court. Despite being a young 16 year old upcoming senior, my maturity level, sense of responsibility, drive, commitment, and basketball IQ far surpasses my chronological age.
