One thing that I definitely would like to do in the future is play college basketball. I love the game and I work everyday to make sure that this goal becomes a reality. Some qualities about me that I know college coaches will love are my intelligence, leadership, and my drive. I will not let my teammates not give 100%, and I definitely will make sure that I am going 110%. As a basketball player, some qualities that I take pride in are I am a great facilitator, I have a high motor and I am a great defender. Offensively, I also thrive on putting my defender to sleep, so when he is off guard I can attack. I am a team player and can contribute to a team anyway my coach wants. I also played football through middle school and my freshman year of high school, just like basketball. I was a huge contributor on every single one of those teams. In football I played quarterback in middle school. And in high school I played basically everything in the secondary and all of the skill positions on offense. I am versatile in both sports, because I do whatever is requested of me by my coach, and also because I am very athletic. I also have played in instrument, and I won the leadership award for my middle school out of every athlete in every sport. My contributions this past year in basketball was being a top 3 scorer, assist leader, steal leader, and I was top 3 in rebounds. In the 6 games I played in football because of injury, I had 3 touchdowns, about 200 rushing and receiving yards, 3 picks( including a pick-six), and about 50 tackles. I will not stop working until my goal becomes a reality. It is only up from here.
