Alex Shiver '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to become the best player in the world through hard work while playing collegiate basketball and attending college. I have been fascinated with animals since I was a toddler, so my career goal is to become a veterinarian. 

With a family full of basketball fans, I first picked up a basketball as a child, and have never put it down since. My love for basketball and commitment to growing and learning in the sport is evident in my attitude at practices, during and after games, and even at school. 

As enthusiastic as I am about basketball, I undertand that education is a necessity and value the opportunity my mom has afforded to me by attending a private school with all honors level classes. So, while I am looking to join a great college basketball team, I am equally looking to join a college with a great academic curriculum and environment. 

I am always striving to improve and want to serve as a role model for others who have a passion for basketball and setting and reaching academic goals.
