Jaidyn Covington '22 Recruiting Profile

Growing up with 2 brothers and 2 hardworking parents, I knew I had to find my purpose why God put me here with a blessed family. Early in my life, I found out my passion was basketball, and I was determined to do anything to make it to the next level. Growing up, I was taught anything worth doing in life was to put 110% effort into it. Living with 2 brothers I found out quickly how competitive I was and how much I hated losing, which also motivated me to become a better player. On the basketball court, I see myself as an Alpha and a leader on the court making my voice known and getting down and doing the dirty work. Outside of the basketball court I'm a smart academic achieving person with a great sense of humor and loves to have fun. Basketball has taught me a lot of things in my life such as accountability, respect, and hard work. Now going into my senior year with no looks it's crunch time and time to work harder than ever before. I'm excited to maybe have an opportunity to play my favorite game at the next level for God and my family.
