Mitch Heinert '23 Recruiting Profile

I was born with a basketball and football in my hands. I spent the first 7 years growing up on the team bus and at practices or games. I have had opportunities put in front of me that allow me to work on my physical and mental abilities, as well as, my character. My family and coaches have taught me how to be a leader, and I know that being a leader doesn't mean that I have to be the best, but I do need to try to make those around me better.  I strive to be the best student and person that I can be, and understand that if I don't have the answer there is always someone around me that does. I believe that I am very coachable, I am a quick learner, and I work hard to put myself in a position to help my team and my coaches.
