Josiah Osei-Amoah '25 Recruiting Profile

Josiah Osei-Amoah is my name. Canada's 6'4 Guard here. I started playing basketball kind of late around grade 9, and played soccer most of my life, but I'm glad I turned to ball it helped me on and off the court, to people playing basketball is fun and all and they might take it as a joke, but I use it to cope with whatever is going on in my life and it makes the stress the pain go away. Since I was very behind on how to play the game, I put in crazy work to get here, and crazy challenges to overcome, and it was worth it. I built my way through house league to prep/AAU level, Mostly teaching myself and getting reps in the gym, and also having my trainer teach me professional moves and finishes. I've built myself to be an elite player with top-tier defense I'm only 6'4 playing guard grabbing 10 boards a game, even on offense I love to read the player and blowby them. I've learned to consistently hit threes since I struggled with that and dunk it consistently. I'm also a coachable player, loving the advice the coach and even my teammates give me, I'm not afraid to try new moves and skills. My mentality is strong and focused always confident in my game. I consider myself extremely blessed to be in the position I am in today and strive to be even better than I am now. On and off the basketball court, I am a hard worker. I strive to be the best at everything I do because I want to be known as someone who always gives it their all.
