Usman Rasool '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Usman Rasool and I am seeking an opportunity to play high level collegiate basketball, with your program and your well known school. I am currently a grade eleven student athlete, and looking to play collegiate basketball after completing my high school diploma. From an academic standpoint, I am strong student athlete who is able to manage my academics along with my athletics. I am currently attending Markville Secondary School, in Markham, Ontario, and having a pretty successful academically strong junior year, with an average of 83% in my junior year. At the post secondary education level, I am interested in Kinesiology or Health Science for my area of study. From the basketball/athletics standpoint, I am a 6”0 guard, that can lead the team through the point guard position but also play off the ball at the shooting guard position. I am coming off of a strong junior season with my school team, but for better competition and more opportunities to improve my game, I play with teams outside of school. I am currently playing for programs TNS Elite and Grassroots. My notable strengths of my game are my ability to get my teammates involved and create shots for them, penetrate and create/score, shoot the ball, good on/off ball defender and most importantly lead the team. I am an open player that is always looking to learn more about the game that I love, hard working, and coachable.
