Jackson Funk '27 Recruiting Profile

I currently am a sophomore at Cooper Liberty High School in Lubbock, TX.  Basketball is a very important part of my life, and my goal is to play on the collegiate level.  I have a strong work ethic and enjoy working on all aspects of the game.  I believe I have strong leadership qualities and take pride in being a good teammate.  I care about my teammates and believe that if we work together then great things will happen for our team.  I love to compete.  When I step on the court, I want to do everything that I can to help my team win. Two things that I key on are attitude and effort.  Attitude and effort are two things that I can control and will harness those to help my team.

Outside of basketball there are many things that are important to me.  My faith and relationship with Christ is the most important thing to me and is the center of my life.  I am very fortunate to have a loving mom and dad that support me, two younger brothers, and a great group of friends that keep me accountable.  I also play football and baseball for my high school and although I enjoy those sports basketball by far is my favorite and first love.  I look forward to continuing to improve my basketball skills as I aspire to play at the next level.
