Soccer has always been my passion. I absolutely love the game, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see my skills and talent grow year after year. As a center back, I thrive on the aggressive and defensive aspects of the game. Protecting the goal and supporting my goalie by keeping the ball out of danger is something I take great pride in. I’m also a highly communicative player, which allows me to analyze the entire field and collaborate effectively with my teammates.
While I excel in my defensive role, I’ve also had the opportunity to play as a forward, where I enjoy the thrill of assisting and scoring goals. These experiences have made me a more versatile and well-rounded player, something I take pride in as I continue to challenge myself.
This year brought unexpected challenges when I had to move mid-year due to my mom’s job. Although I made the Varsity team at my new school, UIL regulations prevented me from competing. Despite this, I remain deeply committed to my team, attending workouts, traveling with them, and supporting from the sidelines. My love for soccer runs deep, and being part of a team—even when I can't play—continues to motivate me to work harder and grow as a player.
Off the field, I’m equally dedicated to my academic and personal goals. I enjoy my Engineering and Biology classes and even attended an Engineering camp hosted by the US Army Corps of Engineers. In college, I plan to study kinesiology with the ultimate goal of coaching soccer. I’m determined to stay connected to the game for as long as possible, whether as a player, coach, or advocate for the sport.
In my free time, I enjoy being creative, spending time with my friends and family, and staying active in my church, where I volunteer for our annual family fair. I also loved assisting my volleyball coach with summer camp and mentoring younger players. As a certified US Soccer Federation referee, I enjoy officiating games for our local soccer association, which allows me to stay deeply connected to the sport I love.
Playing college soccer is my dream. The opportunity to continue growing as an athlete, contributing to a team, and pursuing my passion at a higher level is something I’ve worked toward for years. Soccer isn’t just a game to me—it’s a lifelong love, and I’m ready to bring my energy, drive, and dedication to the collegiate field.
