I've been diving for over 8 years and I've come to love the sport for the competition and for being part of a team. I try to get better every time I dive by challenging myself to learn something new or to improve my technique. The sport of diving has taught me plenty of life lessons about overcoming fear and adversity while keeping a positive mental attitude. I have competed at many large meets such as regionals, zones and even AAU nationals, and that experience allows me to stay cool while under pressure such as during an important meet.
