Hello! My name is Gray Miller and I go to First Flight High School on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. I have been diving for 5 years. Because of where I live accessibility to diving is difficult. I currently drive two hours each way to practice in Virginia. I dive with K2 Diving, I wish that I could practice more but it is hard with the long commute. I go straight to practice from school and get home very late on practice nights. I also work full time in my family's restaurants.
2021: My Freshman year (during Covid) I went to Regionals without a coach and with my parents unable to come inside. It was unnerving being alone but I was able to win and qualify for States. I went to States under the same circumstances and was proud to be sixth place as a Freshman.
2022: My Sophomore year I was unable to do Regionals or States because I had Covid.
2023: My Junior year I again represented First Flight High School at Regionals, I took first place. At States I took second.
Every year I have been in club diving I have qualified for AAU and USA Nationals on both 1M and 3M.
I aspire to dive in college, I would love to have access to regular practice to see what my potential holds.
