Sadie Owens '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sadie Owens and I am a focused student and athlete.  I have grown up in a soccer loving family.  Watching professional soccer and having the thrilling opportunity to watch NCAA mens and woman's college cup finals events in person have had a great influence on me as a player. I have learned the game and I know how it is supposed to look and feel.  Whether it is wrestling my 6'7" brother or slamming into a girl in the open field, I love the physical contact.  I absolutely welcome physical play, and actively search it out.  My size and strength enable me to win 50/50 balls all over the field.  My personality off the field is positive, fun and energetic.  On the field I am completely focused and any mistakes or setbacks do not have a negative affect on my play.  I don't get down, I don't lose focus.  I will bring a high level of intensity and dedication to any team that I am a part of.  I am ready for the challenge of College level soccer and I can't wait for the opportunity to prove myself on the field and as a student.
