As a golfer and student I am committed to leadership, and hold myself to an extremely high standard. In my Junior year I was promoted to captain - the first time a non-senior has been captain. I am also extremely dedicated to my game and my grades. Since the age of 12, I have dreamed of playing college golf and have dedicated myself year round to improving my game. This same dedication is applied to my grades and academic performance - as I maintain above a 4.0 GPA at one of the most selective high schools in the country.
I feel extremely blessed and privileged to be able to play golf - and therefore I am always working on my game (even during the Chicago winter) For me - my love of golf begins with the idea that - the challenge is always elusive and evolving. Golf has no attainable perfection, there is no perfect game or passer rating. The course, the weather, the playing field - all of these are small challenges to be overcome and I appreciate that about golf, unlike many other sports, golf is constantly changing and forcing me to adapt to it.
On your team I will be: a positive presence - pushing my teammates and myself to excel. The hardest worker - at academics and golf. Most importantly, I will never lose the joy and appreciation of playing golf.
