I have played golf my whole life. Golf is by far my favorite sport and I would be thrilled to get to continue playing competitively in college. I strive to improve myself in terms of my game and my academics. Playing collegiate golf would be a dream come true.
I didn't start to really focus on golf until my Sophomore year. I made the Varsity golf and Varsity soccer teams my Freshman and Sophomore year. It was a lot to juggle 2 Varsity sports in the same season while taking a full load of high school classes including AP classes and classes at the local community college. After weighing my options, I made the decision that golf was what I wanted to do, and I stopped playing soccer after finishing my Freshman season. This helped me put way more time into improving my game.
While I am a Class of 2022 high school athlete, I will have over 40 hours of college credit when I graduate from high school. This gives us some flexibility as far as using me as a 2022 or a 2023 athlete in your program. If you don't have any spots left for 2022, I could come to campus and spend my first year working towards my Associate's and still have 4 years to contribute to your team while I complete my Bachelor's and move on to completing my Master's.
