My father taught me to play golf when I was five years old and as I have grown my commitment to the sport has shown me that hard work pays off. Making the Varsity team as a Freshman and playing in the number two spot on the team was a great achievement for me just starting out in high school. To add to that, going on to regionals as a Freshman and again as a Sophomore as well as placing in the top ten in conference was an experience that helped me grow to realize that I can achieve what I want with dedication and perseverance.
Over the years I have played baseball, football, volleyball, hockey and golf. Through these sports I learned many things about hard work and teamwork as well as how to push myself on an individual level to help the team succeed and develop my skills at the same time. I believe in a productive work ethic on the course and see the importance of pushing myself academically to achieve what I want in life and set myself apart from others. I know that my discipline and dedication to the sport and academics will make me a leader on your team.
