Julia Sivertsen '21 Recruiting Profile

Empowering women is my passion in life, but providing consistent support to them is even more important to me.  This is why I plan to create a company made by a woman, for women. To encourage young girls to join the wonderful sport, I am in the works of building a wrestling shoe company that will be marketed towards girls. To make all of this happen, I will first need to equip myself with skills from majoring in business. I will put all the effort that it takes to succeed in the courses ahead of me and more to propel my enterprise forward. I would make an excellent member on any wrestling team, because I have invested my brain, my heart, and my body into the sport alone, but I am also level-headed. I am coachable, I can take criticism well, and I know how to lose and how to win. Throughout my freshman and sophomore wrestling seasons, I remained undefeated against all females I ever faced, but I remain respectful. When I went to sectionals and Girl's State, I was defeated by girls for the first time, but I am resilient and committed to keeping myself in proper form so that I can come back even brighter and better for next time.
