I am an extremely driven, disciplined, and coachable student-athlete who is always eager to learn and improve. I take great pride in working hard—whether in the classroom, on the golf course, or in the gym. As a three-sport athlete enrolled in all Honors classes at Newburyport High School, I currently hold a 4.78 weighted GPA and rank near the top of my sophomore class. I have been competing in tournament golf since the age of seven, and I firmly believe my best years are still ahead of me.
I recently completed my sophomore golf season with one of the strongest individual and team performances in Newburyport High School history, helping lead our team to the State Finals for the first time. After shooting a 33 on the front nine, I held the individual lead for the state title, ultimately finishing just short of victory. I recorded the lowest scoring average (37.4) in recent Cape Ann League history and was honored as Cape Ann League Player of the Year by unanimous vote—an award never before won by a sophomore. Additionally, I was named Newburyport High School MVP as both a freshman and sophomore and was recently selected as the solo captain for the Fall 2025 season.
During the 2024 New England Junior PGA Tour season, I ranked #3 out of 311 golfers while being one of the youngest competitors in the 16-18 age division. Competing in 14 tournaments, I secured ten top-10 finishes, including five top-3 finishes, with scores of 75 or better in each of my top-3 performances. My season also included a career tournament low of 71.
As a freshman on the varsity golf team, I posted a 38.6 scoring average and shot a 77 at the Massachusetts State Championship Qualifier, finishing with the fifth-best score out of 78 players. I earned First Team All-Conference honors and became the first freshman in school history to be named Newburyport High School MVP.
In addition to golf, I was the only freshman to make the varsity baseball team. As the team’s closer on a roster with 14 seniors, I finished with a 4-0 record and a 0.78 ERA. My coach, Jordan, was quoted in the Daily News, saying: "Jack has a lot of moxie for a freshman. The name of the game is throwing strikes, and he does that. The moment doesn't scare him."
My goal is to find the right college or university where I can thrive both academically and athletically. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to a collegiate golf program while making a meaningful impact within the community. I am confident that my best days—both in the classroom and on the golf course—are still ahead of me.
