My father and grandfather first put me on the golf course when I was young, but I have been playing competitive golf for only a few years now. Over that time, I have dropped my score by more than 20 strokes. I hold myself to high standards, and I am my toughest critic. I strive for improvement both on and off the course. I face challenges head on, and I always find ways to overcome them with success and life lessons learned. As a freshman, I started in the third spot on varsity, and played in the first spot for most of the matches sophomore year. This game will help me make business deals in the future and life-long friendships. I haven't quite decided what I'd like to focus on as a major, but I'm leaning towards something in the science field. I am a hard-working, kind and friendly person who would love to be part of a college golf team throughout my college career.
