I sprint freestyle, but I am learning to swim other races outside of my comfort zone, like the 100 fly, back and breast, and the 200 and 500 free. I never miss practice, and I am always working my absolute hardest in every set, whether I like it or not, and nearly every time I enjoy a tough set. There is no better feeling for me than to swim fast, and you can tell when you watch me swim. This season, I dealt with spending two months out of the water due to having mono, yet still coming back from that I dropped a second in my 50 free, bringing me down to a 23.1, and 6 seconds in my 200 free, bringing me down to a 1:53.75, and still improving. Looking at my timeline, I have dropped time in every event every season since I began swimming, and I have the work ethic to keep that going. My mind is constantly wrapped up on swimming. I spend 2 hours in the pool every day to train with my coach, Don Wagner, and an extra hour twice a week at drylands, still working my butt off. In the offseason, I go to the gym and do countless bodyweight exercises on a short interval, lift weights, and swim more, while keeping a heavy yet healthy diet so I can maintain the perfect body type for swimming, slim and hydrodynamic, yet strong and slightly bulky in all of my muscles. If you look into me as a swimmer, I can guarantee that I will suffice as the exact definition of dedicated and obsessed with self-improvement, and responsibility. I maintain good grades, and I make sure everything in my life is in order because I know that one slip up can cost me the world.
