Kevin Bucklin '21 Recruiting Profile

       My first year on the varsity golf team, in 8th grade, we went 12-2 but fell short of our ultimate goal of an undefeated season and winning the Finger Lakes East. However this was definitely my most important year because it was an amazing learning experience showing me that things in life do not come easy and I’ve kept that in mind. The past 3 years I have helped my team go undefeated, winning the Finger Lakes East every season. It has taken a lot of hard work and dedication to reach these goals.

     Throughout my high school career in golf I can proudly say that I am a team player and will do whatever is possible to help the team win. I am always looking to improve my scores, one swing or putt at a time. For these reasons I believe that I can make a major impact on a college team. 

     In the classroom I always strive to do my best. I have challenged myself by taking advanced classes and I am eager to learn new things. I always put forth my best effort to achieve high grades.

     I would appreciate any opportunity to play golf at the collegiate level.
